30 years ago, on this night, I did not know if I would live to see the next day. Hiding, holding my breath so it could not find me nor hear me breathing.... I promised myself if I did not go gentle into that good night, if I fought to survive... I would not allow another night like this. I would not bow down before the evil entity that stalked me. I would rage against it!  The next day, I made a choice to live. I chose to do whatever it takes to break free from that monster.  Even if I were to die in that long battle that lay ahead. I chose not to submit. I chose to speak the whole truth, no matter who chose to avert their eyes from reality, no matter if they called me a liar. I did not go gentle into that good night. I raged against it. For not all men are good, not all fathers are good men. No man nor evil entity has the right to snuff out my light. I will rage, rage against anyone who tries to force my light to die,... Just as I did 30 years ago. I did not go gentle into that frightful night.
